Terra Noir is an independent nature & landscape photography business operated from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. We collect only what is necessary to process your payment and deliver your purchase. We do not track you, sell your data, or run ads.

1. Information We Collect

When you make a voluntary contribution on this website, we collect:

Your name and email address (entered by you during checkout)
Payment confirmation details — processed entirely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or banking credentials
The photograph title you selected for purchase
Razorpay Transaction/Payment ID (for our records and your receipt)

We do not install tracking cookies, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party analytics on this site.

2. How We Use Your Information

To confirm and record your payment in our admin dashboard
To send you a payment receipt or the digital photo file via email
To respond to any support queries you raise
To comply with Indian tax and financial record-keeping regulations

We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes — ever.

3. Razorpay — Our Payment Processor

All payments on this site are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Your card, UPI, netbanking, or wallet credentials go directly to Razorpay's encrypted servers — never to us
Terra Noir receives only: your name, email, payment amount, and Razorpay's payment confirmation ID
The shop name shown during Razorpay checkout is Terra Noir — your personal bank statement may show this name

4. Data Storage & Security

Transaction records are stored in your browser's session storage (cleared when you close the tab) and in our secure admin records (stored in your browser's localStorage on the admin device only). We do not operate any external server, database, or cloud storage. Your email address is used only for sending receipts.

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

5. Your Rights

Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and IT (Amendment) Rules, you have the right to:

Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data from our records
Raise a complaint about how your data is handled

6. Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use browser localStorage only to save your admin settings on your own device. No third-party cookie scripts are loaded.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information, contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when needed. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
